MILFORD SOUND MIRROR

I adored our time in Milford Sound. There was no brilliant sunset or sunrise but drama galore! This shot was taken at sunrise. I just love the way the reflection of the clouds make it look like there is "smoke on the water!"

MILFORD SOUND, SOUTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND

There is a reason the native name for this place is 'land of the long white cloud.'  The massive mountains rise so quickly from the earth that they seem to be rushing towards the misty embrace of the sky.
